Inspired by the 2019 film The Lighthouse, this mid-paced stoner/doom/sludge metal song invokes the same feelings of dread, confusion and anxiety as the film does.
Heavy, evil-sounding riffs form the song’s base and the melodic, almost operatic choruses offer a brief escape from the foreboding verses and bizzare, uncomfortable lead breaks.
It doesn’t neatly fit into any one sub-genre, but it has so far been compared to Sepultura, Ghost, Devin Townsend and Yob
